Cocktail Application

We are really in a high tech generation now. With all the new electronics, computers and gadgets that are out in the market like the ipods, iphones and ipads, communication and researching is not a problem no more compared to the past decades. I am so amazed how smart those people who invented those gadgets. I would really love to own an iphone or ipad but the problem is, our budget won't allow me to buy one. I will just have to be contented with my cellphone and laptop for now. Who knows, in the near future I would be able to own one of those gadgets.

I am using my laptop as of this moment and I am browsing this cocktail application from itunes for apple products. This application is in time for the coming holiday season where people will be busy making their favorite cocktails. You can buy and download this app to your iphones. In this application, Kim Haasarud presents her Holiday cocktail creations. Kim is a renown mixologist and her her cocktails in this app range from a Blackberry Rum Punch to festive Bellinis to a Salted Caramel Mocha. The four categories include: Champagne Cocktails, Punches, Martinis & Toddies. Each cocktail features an elegant picture, recipe, directions and how to batch for 12 servings. It also includes a glossary of various spirits and ingredients so you know exactly what they are and how to get them as well as quick tips on garnishes and making some of your own ingredients.

New Place For Us

I can't believe it's been that long since the last time I updated this blog. Oh my, this year is almost over isn't it? How time flies! The main reason I didn't update this blog is that we didn't have our internet for over a month. We just got it back last week. Now I have to make up for the lost times in my blogging hobby.

Hubby and I just moved to this house last December 1st. We've been busy moving our things and now finally we're settled in our new place. There are still some stuffs that we need to get from our old house but we can always go there anytime. Anyway, it's just a 5 minute drive from here.

Well, I've been busy in my kitchen once again. I have nobody to depend on now unlike before when we were living with my brother and his wife. My brother was a good cook and I just love his cooking. That's the reason hubby and I gained weight. Lately, I've been cooking my favorite foods like pinakbet, sinigang na bangus, dinengdeng, fried boneless bangus and of course my hubby's favorite, adobong pusit and beans. I'll post next time some pics and recipes.
